This is a place to make a suggestion as to how crime can be controlled. Suggestions will always be looked at and evaluated, but not necessarily implemented.  You can also discuss the merits of such suggestions.

Bridge vendors

Apparently there is a Bridge Vendors Organisation in place somewhere, and vendors have to register to be able to sell from this place. If there is a formal group, I think we should get them to consider erecting loos and the other essentials for daily life, as the vendors have a very valid excuse for their wanderings around the abounding residential areas. Or else have them re-located to a central vending area (along with the guys at the Lord Charles intersection, perhaps)? Last week I happened upon SAPS in the selling area, and they were trying to keep two wood vendoring parties from each other. I parked to listen to the conversation, but moved off when talk of guns came into the argument, with one party threatening "we will bring the guns..." and the other retaliating with "ek het meer bru's as jy --- ons sal vir jou wys...". If this is the case, I don't think we want them here...? Huh?
